Block Lessons

Cost: £48 for juniors/students, £72 for Adults
(prices include ski/board, boots & helmet hire)

• Six week blocks of one hour lessons on the same day and time each week.
• Classes run every weekday evening (except Wed- see practice session details below) and every weekend. They also run in line with the school term with alternative options throughout the holidays.
• Block lessons run at 3 different abilities: Green, Blue and Red level (see below for more details of ability levels).
• Please see the bookings team or check our website for details of dates and times of classes.
• You are required to pay for your block at the time of booking. If for any reason, you are unable to attend any week, you should inform the bookings team who will recommend either a practice session or a private lesson (additional cost) to catch up.

June Block: Starting the week of May 28th, finishing week of 2nd July.
*please note that this block will run into the 1st week of the school summer holidays*
Available to book now!

Provisional spaces are not held from the June block to the September block- it is 1st come 1st served and available to book from 25th June.

September Block: Starting the week of August 27th, finishing week of 1st October. Available to book from 25th JUNE

Please call reception on 01224 810215 to book into the block lessons. Please note that we will not be able to take bookings or advise on day/time of classes until the 'available to book from' dates given above.

What Level Am I?

Green- Beginner level (age 4-5 years there are two levels; Penguins and Polar Bears skiing)
• Designed for complete beginners to those who have tried a few times.
• Learn the basics: Ski - x 2 snowplough turns; Snowboard - basic J & C turns.
• On the beginner slope.

Blue- Intermediate level (age 4-5 years this class is called Sabre Tooth Tigers skiing)
• Designed for those who have just completed a green block to those who have spent up to 1 week learning on snow.
• Learn to: Ski - linked snowplough turns through to elementary plough parallel turns; Snowboard - linked turns on heel and toe edges.
• On Dendix/Alpine slope.

Red- Improver/Advanced level (age 4-5 years this class is called Yetis skiing)
• Designed for those who have completed the blue block to those who can ski but want to improve turns & technique.
• Learn to: Ski - linked plough parallel turns through to elementary parallel turns; Snowboard - improve turns & technique & learn basic tricks.
• On Dendix/Alpine slope.

Practice Sessions - For Those In Current Lessons

Cost: £5 for all persons in current lessons (blocks/fast tracks/private) All prices include ski/board, boots & helmet hire.
• This session gives you an hour of practice on the beginner slope under guided supervision.
• This is an ideal opportunity to practice what you have learned so far.
• If you miss a lesson or require a little extra practice, your instructor may recommend this session for you.
